Join us on a snowshoe adventure where the Lyngen Alps meet the sea. Together we explore the northernmost part of the Lyngen Peninsula, walking through an open Arctic landscape shaped by generations of coastal people and their connection to the fjord, the mountains and the changing seasons.
As we move through the winter landscape, your guide will share stories from local life, traditions and the history of Nord-Lenangen. This is more than a hike – it is an opportunity to experience the place through the eyes of the people who call it home.
Surrounded by snow-covered peaks, open sea and the ever-changing Arctic light, you will discover the quiet beauty that makes this part of Northern Norway so special. Along the way, you may spot white-tailed eagles, foxes, mountain hares, sea otters, grouse or even moose.
Midway through the tour, we stop to enjoy a packed lunch and a warm drink outdoors, taking time to breathe, slow down and simply be present in nature.
This experience is perfect for those who want to combine light outdoor activity with authentic local storytelling, breathtaking scenery and a genuine connection to Arctic coastal culture.
Available daily from XLyngen. Mondays from Tromsø with transfer included.
