From your table you can watch fishing boats cross the fjord, seabirds diving for their next meal and the ever-changing Arctic light reflecting on the mountains. It's a reminder that what ends up on your plate begins just outside our windows.

Between the mountains and the fjord, you'll find Bøteriet – a restaurant where Northern Norwegian ingredients, local traditions and spectacular surroundings come together.

Here, every meal tells the story of the people, the landscape and the culture that have shaped life along this coastline for generations.

The flavours of northern norway

Our menu begins with the landscape around us. The sea provides halibut, cod, saithe, shrimp and shellfish, while the mountains offer lamb, wild game, herbs and berries that change with the seasons. Whenever possible, we source our ingredients from local producers—people we know, trust and are proud to work with. Nature sets the pace in our kitchen, so as the seasons change, so do the flavours on your plate.

‍Enjoy a Northern Norwegian take on the classic Afternoon Tea, featuring local flavours, homemade treats and beautiful views of the Lyngen Alps.

Reservation required by Friday at 18:00.

Knitting cafe
