Experience the Lyngen Alps from the seat of a snowmobile and discover the winter landscape beyond the roads.
Your day begins in Nord-Lenangen, our small fishing village where the mountains meet the fjord. Before heading into the Arctic wilderness, you'll enjoy a homemade lunch in our waterfront restaurant, Bøteriet. Take in the panoramic views across the fjord while enjoying local flavours and watching everyday life unfold outside.
After lunch, your guide will provide all the necessary equipment and a safety briefing before setting off into the mountains.
Following established trails, you'll travel through snow-covered valleys and open mountain landscapes with views across the Lyngen Alps and surrounding fjords. Along the way, we'll stop at scenic viewpoints where there's time to take photos, enjoy the surroundings and, if we're lucky, spot wildlife such as sea eagles, foxes or even a moose.
Our guides know these mountains well and will share stories about the landscape, local history and the fishing community that has shaped life in Nord-Lenangen for generations.
To create a more personal experience, tours are limited to 12 guests. Two people share each snowmobile and switch drivers halfway through the tour, giving everyone the opportunity to experience both driving and taking in the scenery.
Drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving licence. Throughout the tour, you'll follow your guide and travel at a comfortable pace through the Arctic landscape.
